Abstract

Lviv reviewed monograph young researcher Danylo Kravets dedicated extremely important and topical issue – Western coverage of social and political thought of the Soviet Ukraine interwar period.The author traced reflection in the Western public opinion processes that took place in Soviet Ukraine during the 1920 s. (NEP, ukrainization). Reveals views of the population of Western Ukraine on economic reforms in the USSR in the late 1920s – early 1930 s. Much attention is paid to the analysis of attitudes to western Ukrainian Bolshevik industrialization, collectivization, famine of 1932–1933., cultural and social development in Soviet Ukraine in the time appointed.
