THE FINANCIAL PROVIDING OF THE SELF-GOVERNING BODY’S ACTIVITY IN VOLYN (1919–1939)

The proposed study relates to the historical period when some lands, including Western Volyn, were part of Poland. This relatively short period of chronologically extremely rich variety of events in the economic, social, political and cultural life of the region. One such aspect is the establishment and functioning of Volyn in a designated historical period self-governing institute. The article describes the main stages of the self-governing body’s foundation. The main directions and forms of the self-governing body’s activity, the fundamentals of their financial policy are investigated. The results of their activities in the region are highlighted, and the achievements and shortcoming of the job are defined also.
