IMPORTS OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS OF THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE BEFORE THE FIRST WORLD WAR: UKRAINIAN CONTEXT (1911–1914)

Import priorities of the European industrial capital at the end of XX century are found out. The main factors that influenced on corresponding politics are determined. The objective import potential of industrial products is characterized. The main statistical information concerning import of products to markets the Russian Empire is pointed. The specific of activity of Donbas mining towards the reduction of imports volumes of industrial products is traced. It is proved that though there was weak export potential, many industrial brunches of the Russian Empire needed foreign products, first of all Ukrainian provinces.
