On the basis of analysis of scientific literature the famous historian contribution to the discussion of the restructuring and the overall agrarian reform during the tenure of Mikhail Gorbachev. It was found that before with other historians, scientists actively engaged in studying the processes of collectivization and dispossession. During these studies began to show the true extent and consequences of Stalin’s terror against the peasantry. For open resistance to collapse this research work in the years 1965–1968 V. Danylov was accused of “revisionism” and “bourgeois downloading the position of relativism”, dismissed, unable to free publication of their articles.Therefore, not only the opportunity to work freely in perestroika, but also to express their views Mr. Danylov allowed to participate in the discussions of the then agrarian problems. Exposed historian cooperative understanding the socio-economic structure of the reformed economy. The attempt to understand the attitude V. Danylov to contemporary processes prevailing in politics and public relations.
