THE ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTS AS THE BASIS OF RESEACH HISTORY OF THE NOBLE CHARITY IN KATERYNOSLAV’S PROVINCE (THE LATE XVIIITH – EARLY XXTH CENTURY)

Abstract

Based on the information the State Archives of Dnepropetrovsk region an overview of sources on the history of charitable activities nobles Katerynoslav’s province of the Russian Empire in the late XVIIIth – early XXth century.Author identified informative potential and level of objectivity of the archival materials, it was concluded that they are one of representative sources on the researched topic. Is emphasized that the introduction of these sources in a scientific turn allows to combine the information flows of central and local archives and contribute maximally objective definition of the role of the nobility of the region in the field of philanthropy.
