The purpose of the article is a philosophical and cultural analysis of the psychoseman- tics and pragmatics of color as a phenomenon of human experience, combining cognitive, emotional and socio-communicative dimensions. The main attention is focused on revealing the mechanisms of color func- tioning in philosophy, art and modern Ukrainian cultural space in conditions of war. The research method- ology is based on phenomenological, hermeneutic and semiotic approaches, as well as on psychosemantic analysis and cultural hermeneutics, which allows us to interpret color as a form of thinking and a way of spiritual self-expression. The scientific novelty lies in understanding color as a universal semiotic code of culture, which integrates sensory, aesthetic, archetypal and cognitive principles, as well as in revealing its ethical and spiritual potential in the military art of Ukraine. Conclusions. Color in modern humanitarian discourse appears not only as an element of aesthetics, but as an integral philosophical and communicativephenomenon. In the context of war, it acquires ontological significance, turning into a symbol of inner light, memory and resistance. The Ukrainian military palette (black, gray, blue, gold, white) reflects culturalstability, spiritual maturity and nation-building potential of art. Color functions as a mediator between personal and collective experience, combining ethical, emotional and philosophical principles into a single system of symbolic thinking.
