IMPLEMENTATION OF THE “ALIENATION EFFECT” IN YURY KOSACH’S DRAMA “CORTEZ AND THE TALENTLESS WOMAN”

Abstract

The article deals with the specifics of drama Ukrainian immigrants, which has a distinctive character for developed without regard to Soviet literature, art suffered influences that raged in western European space twentieth century. Proved that undeniable impact on Ukrainian artists had the German playwright Bertolt Brecht and his theory of the “epic theater”. In the article the implementation of the alienation effect” for example Yuriy Kosach’s drama “Cortez and Unlucky” Characteristic feature of the author’s application assembly building work, the ancient choir and pirandello’s scheme “theater-in-theater”. Poetykalni features Yuri Kosach’s drama “Cortez and Unlucky” indicate the uniqueness of emigration drama, including its innovation and common nature of emigration and Western literature.
