CHILDREN'S AND YOUTH'S FICTION FROM LIBERATION TO THE FIRST WORLD WAR

This text is a part of a monograph in the field of Bulgarian children`s literature, created from the Liberation in 1878 to World War I. The author pays attention to the origin of Bulgarian prose for children, its connection with the folklore, translation literature, the non fiction literature and the publicism. The cardinal conclusion is: the function of this literature and periodical to educate the children construct basic characteristics of prose in this period.
