THE FAMILY SUBJECTS IN THE POETRY OF Т. SHEVCHENKO 1849 YEAR

Abstract

The article deals with the works of Т. Shevchenko where theme of family opens up. There is the poet lyric "I" combines with author in these works. The emotions and minds of Taras Shevchemko coincide fully with the patriarchal looks of Ukrainian village of the middle of XIX century. That’s why the main sources of family theme were Ukrainian domestic songs. Many works written of 1849 year based on the themes of Ukrainian folklore. There are many motives of loneliness, desire of «sincere heart» in poetry of that time. Sometimes poetics lyric «І» tries to refuse to find the faithful friend of life. But it is not true. So us there are many romantic idyllic pictures and also images of child. Form image about Motherland, Ukraine not only as a mother but also a wife of author’s lyric «І» in poetry of Taras Shevchenko. The short poem «The Centurion» is about this problem. It confirms: the marriage of an old grandfather and a young girl is not natural as it was in Ukrainian society of that time. It may be too late to marriage for poet. The favorable time has already passed. But even after exited time Shevchenko tries to marriage. It confirms story with Lykeria Polusmakova. The hero of the poem «Why should I get married» chooses the freedom, The tall grave is his girl, So poet disbeliefs not only in happy but also in any future. There are many children images in the poetry of Shevchenko. The image of an orphan has an important role. Poet himself was an orphan from the age of 11. There is a projection of own life in the poem «Both Golden and Expensive».
