FEATURES OF THE NEWSPAPER INTERVIEW AS A TYPE OF TEXT AND DISCOURSE

The object of the current research is linguistic and extra-linguistic characteristics of the newspaper interview as a type of text and discourse. Focus on the linguistic status of interview genre presupposes the distinction of main language typological features of its own. In the sphere of linguistics interview is viewed as the dominant strictly regulated genre form based on the dialogical interaction of two communicants (author and recipient), expressed in the text with the help of modally motivated interviewer’s and respondent’s speech in the close interrelation with their questions and answers. Discursive nature if the interview is disclosed due to the extralingual means influencing the course of the interview and the choice of lexical and syntactic language means of the participants.
