Abstract

Today, in conditions of rapid growth in production and consumption, humanity is faced with the problem of an ecological crisis and depletion of the planet's resources. One of the ways to solve this problem is the use of recycling and upcycling methods, which involves the processing of waste and the recovery of material resources in order to reduce the costs of extracting new resources and reduce the negative impact on the environment. The use of resources, taking into account their limitations and environmental pollution, is one of the most important problems of the modern world. Today, more and more people and organizations are showing interest in creating a more sustainable and efficient use of resources. In this context, the issues of resource conservation, as well as the development of innovative thinking, are especially relevant for future specialists in the technological direction. The relevance of the topic lies in the need to conserve resources and reduce the negative impact on the environment. The use of these methods is especially important for future specialists in the technological direction, who must be aware of environmental problems and be able to apply innovative approaches in their work. The purpose of the article is to study the methods of recycling and upcycling as a tool for saving resources and developing innovative thinking of future specialists in the technological direction. The article is devoted to the study of issues of effective use of resources and the development of innovative thinking among future specialists in the technological direction. The authors of the study investigate the methods of recycling and upcycling as a means of saving resources and avoiding their release to landfills. The use of recycling and upcycling in technological production is considered, which allows to significantly reduce the amount of waste and saves valuable resources. Attention is drawn to the need to form innovative thinking and increase the level of environmental awareness of future specialists in the technological direction. The article examines the problem of resource conservation and the development of innovative thinking of future technical specialists through the implementation of recycling and upcycling methods, the importance of using these methods in modern conditions to reduce the ecological burden on the environment and ensure sustainable development. The concepts of recycling and upcycling, their differences and the advantages of use are analyzed. The main methods of implementing these concepts in technological production are described, as well as examples of the use of these methods in practice. In particular, recommendations are offered for the development of educational programs and courses on recycling and upcycling for future specialists in the technological direction with the aim to form innovative thinking and raise the level of environmental awareness. The need for further research in order to study various aspects of the application of recycling and upcycling in various branches of technological production is also considered.
