Abstract

The results of modeling of social-communicative competence formation process of future specialists majoring in nursing in the process of studying the humanities are presented. Specific features of pedagogical modeling based on pedagogical characteristics of the studied pedagogical phenomena and processes that form the basis of the future model are defined The model of social-communicative competence of future specialists majoring in nursing is developed. The model consists of the following elements: targeted, motivational, content, procedural and resultative. Each of the model elements has its own content. The target element meets the social order for the training of a specialist majoring in nursing, who can effectively interact with other subjects of the communicative space in the medical field. The motivational element implements such pedagogical condition as the development of students` positive motivation to acquire the indicated competence. The content element reveals the educational process organization that provides the effective formation of social-communicative competence of future specialists majoring in nursing. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of socialcommunicative competence of future specialists majoring in nursing are formulated. The procedural element of the model demonstrates both traditional and innovative forms, methods and means of forming the socialcommunicative competence of future specialists majoring in nursing in the process of studying the humanities. The resultative element gives the opportunity to correlate the expected image within the target element with the image of the achieved goal. In order to increase the effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions for the formation of social-communicative competence of future nurses in the process of studying the humanities, a special course "Social-communicative competence of a specialist in the field of health care" is developed, intended for studying by future bachelors and masters of nursing. The general purpose of the special course is defined as the development of social-communicative competence of future specialists majoring in nursing mastering them with the skills of social communications in the professional environment. The tasks of the special course are as follows: teaching students the skills of communicative contact with other subjects of communication in the professional field; mastering students` skills of effective social and communicative interaction in the professional sphere; analyzing and predicting the partners` behavior during social and communicative interaction.
