Abstract

The article focuses on studying the process of forming a physician's professional culture as a crucial aspect of training highly qualified medical professionals. The research relevance is determined by the need to prepare highly qualified medical personnel capable of effectively responding to complex challenges in modern medicine, particularly in the context of military operations in Ukraine. In a globalized world, where technology and military realities create complex challenges, physicians need deep medical knowledge, strong professional culture, decision-making skills in extreme conditions, and the ability to provide care under pressure while demonstrating humanism, empathy, and resilience. The scientific and practical problem lies in the need to ensure a systematic and comprehensive approach to forming the professional culture of modern physicians. This requires updating educational programs according to international standards, enhancing practical training, developing soft skills, and shaping professional values, with a focus on psychological readiness for working in stressful conditions. The article aims to investigate the formation of professional culture among future physicians in medical universities, including methodology, components, and conditions for developing their professional competencies for work in complex and stressful situations. The research methods include theoretical analysis, which involves the study of scientific literature, regulatory documents, pedagogical concepts, and historical sources related to the formation of the professional culture of doctors. In addition, the article systematizes theoretical approaches to the development of the professional culture and identifies the main stages and factors that influence this process. The paper analyzes the essence of professional culture, its components, and its significance for effective medical practice. It examines the main stages of professional culture formation: pre-university, university, postgraduate, and professional, and identifies key factors influencing this process. The scientific novelty lies in the comprehensive analysis and systematization of modern approaches to forming physician professional culture in the educational environment. The study presents theoretical substantiation of structural components of professional culture and the mechanisms of its development. The practical significance of the research lies in determining effective approaches to forming physician professional culture at different stages of education. It is concluded that professional culture is a dynamic process that requires continuous development and adaptation to the conditions of modern medicine.
