FEATURE FILM AS A TEACHING TOOL FOR STUDENTS-PEDAGOGUES IN THE STUDY OF «PEDAGOGICS» COURSE

The possibilities of the use of feature films that present interesting aspects of school life and human relations during the study of separate themes of the course "Pedagogy" are analyzed. Since feature films belong to the audiovisual facilities of studies, they are recommended to be used in accordance with videomethod during lectures, seminars and laboratory classes. With the help of the indicated process the connection with extracurricular life of students is realized, their vital experience is activated, the range of interests broadens and future teachers education is carried out. It is indicated that different educator and didactics problems are masterly represented in films, as well as interesting pedagogical situations are reproduced. Videomethod assists in the realization of principles of availability, emotionality and evidentness in the process of education. The application of high-quality feature films activates the creative thinking, assists in forming analysis and self-analysis skills of future teachers.
