MODERN APPROACHES IN THE CONCEPT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN UKRAINE: REGULATORY AND LEGAL SUPPORT

Abstract

The article presents a research of the concept “inclusion”, and an analysis of the nature and content of the existing approaches to inclusive education. The main tendencies in updating legal, traditional approaches to organization of the system of inclusive education, nature of inclusive education, as well as its founding principles have been determined in this paper. Regulatory and legal framework has been considered in accordance with international treaties on human rights, implementation and promotion of models of inclusive education of children in preschool and secondary schools. The article shows the role and position of inclusive education in the system of general education environment, with methodical support for various types of teaching children with special needs in Ukraine as its part.
