COGNITIVE COMPONENT IN THE STRUCTURE OF PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN TECHNICAL FIELD

Тhe content of the cognitive component of professional identity of future specialists in technical specialties is described. There is proved that it is basic in the structure of identity and allows the specialist to build future strategy for his professional growth. The criteria and characteristics of this component are described. There is also determined that it includes integrated knowledge of the subject himself as a specialist as well as knowledge about future profession in different aspects. The role of the professional community in formation of cognitive component of future technical specialists’ professional identity is described.
