In the article the author analyses the notion of English linguosociocultural competency of a student fromthe viewpoint of modern FLT methodology, defines the content of the competency formation, grounds theimportance of experiential learning and concretizes peculiarities of experiential learning implementation informing English linguosociocultural competency of a student majoring in Philology-related speciality in tertiaryinstitutions and considering Ukrainian and world societies development nowadays.
