TECHNIQUES OF ACTIVATION OF STUDENTS’ SPEECH ACTIVITY AT FOREIGN LANGUAGE LESSONS

In the article techniques of activation of speech activity of students at lessons of foreign language are analyzed; types, sources, requirements to didactic providing of a dialogue, rules of conduct of a dialogue, and also circumstances which prevent its origin are considered. The author notices that dialogical approach assumes the transmission of knowledge and also general growth of personality, personal development of a teacher and students. It is well-proven that interaction eliminates prevailing of one personality above other, one opinion above other, during the educational process students study to think critically, settle thorny problems by the analysis of circumstances and information, accept careful decisions. The form of interaction is an educational dialogue between a teacher and students, which foresees passing to the subject-subject relations, helps in interchange of educational information, points of view, and mastering of social experience in the conditions of collaboration. The attention is paid to the peculiarities of usage of methods of discussion and debates in teaching foreign languages, their stages of work, abilities and skills which are necessary for a teacher if he plans to use these methods; the development of intellectual activity of students at lessons of foreign language can be attained through specific problem situations, which also help to develop skills of critical thinking.
